Raising money is a reality that many schools have deal with today. More & more often we are told that while the educational, social & P.R. benefits are important, the exhibition must also contribute to school funds.

An exhibition of bright colourful pictures, signed & dated by the artists, has a real “WOW” factor which will draw a big crowd. Parents love the idea of signed memento of their child’s time at school & this combined with the feeling that the school is benefitting, is a winning combination.

Having staged over 1,000 exhibitions since 2003 we have been lucky to work with some inspired teachers & parents who have incorporated some great money raising ideas, both simple & elaborate, into the exhibition event.

What works well in one school might not neccesarily work well in another and we will use our experience to help you stage a great event that raises lots of money for your school.

Some Ideas For A Successful Fundraiser

The simplest way to raise funds is to add a supplement on to our basic price. However to take full advantage of the exhibition and make a real financial success of the event the following add-on initiatives have worked very well in different schools. I am not suggesting that you have to use all of these just pick the ones that you feel would work well for you.

Publicity
It might sound obvious but the bigger the attendance from parents, grandparents and the wider family circle the more funds will be raised.
Our free Publicity Pack will guarantee a big response and we are available at any time to help.

NEW FOR 2011 - 2012 School Photos
Since the school has the option to receive a class photo for each child in the school, why not fundraise by selling them to families at a fraction of the cost a photographer would charge.

Sponsorship
Get local businesses or individuals to sponsor a class for €20, €50 or €100. Their names as sponsors will be prominently displayed on the night.

Draws, Raffles, & Cakesales
The old favourites are favourites for a reason, they work well!!!!

Guess The Teacher
Teachers anonymously contribute pictures or bonny baby photos for the exhibition. Visitors then have to match the pictures to the teachers. Apart from raising funds this is also great fun.

How Many Sweets In The Jar
Put some sweets or marbles in a glass jar and charge €1 or €2 a go at guessing how many sweets. The winner gets to keep the jar!!!

Stage An Auction
As an add-on fundraising exercise, many schools have staged an auction in conjunction with their exhibition. Pictures, donated by local artists or photographers, were auctioned at the end of the evening by a local celebrity

Official Opening
Do you have a local celebrity or dignitary who might officially open the exhibition for you? If so a crowd will gather and add to the sense of occasion.

Parents, generally speaking, are very favourably disposed towards their school. Now more than ever before people are looking to their locality first when it comes to supporting causes and a fundraising event which includes the exhibition as a backdrop will be very popular especially when marketed using our free marketing pack.Back To Home Page...
